Married and Engaged Couples Date Night

Every marriage witnesses to God’s faithful, fruitful, and lasting love for His people.

Marriage confers a myriad of benefits on a husband and wife, and on any children that they are blessed with. The Church provides many on-the-ground helps for couples to keep their marriages strong, happy, and holy.

One way we would like to help is to host date nights. We’ve had a painting, wine and beer night. We laughed with the Improv Theater by ComedySportz and hosted a night out at Springfest with live music, food and if you were feeling daring, a ride on the Ferris Wheel!

Marriage Mentoring

Do something good for your marriage.

Consider becoming a marriage mentor.  Our Marriage Prep program serves as marriage enrichment for the mentor couple, as they do much of the same work as the couple preparing for marriage. Mentors don’t have to have perfect marriages or be a theologian on the Sacrament of Matrimony, but they should:

-be married at least 5 years
-attend mass faithfully, each week and holy day of obligation
-have a good (not perfect) marriage
– desire to grow in their marriage.
-be willing to challenge and encourage engaged couples.
-be available for a once a month meeting 6 months to watch a video together and discuss it.
– be willing to continue to pray for your couple and stay in touch with them, if desired by both couples.
