Epiphany Parish is looking for

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Coordinator

Full time, 30 hours per week with benefits. Up to 30 hours per week, but could be job-shared between two people. 11 months.

To provide a Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program for students ages 3 through grade 6.

Major Position Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program for the parish, preschool and school.
  2. Teach in a CGS classroom Level I, Level 2 and Level 3.
  3. Recruit, Train and Supervise Catechists and Assistants for program.
  4. Coordinate materials needed for the program.
  5. Assist teachers and/or students in the preschool and school.
  6. Recruit, train, and supervise all volunteers. Collaborate with the human resource staff person to make sure volunteers have gone through proper training and background checks.
  7. Participate in any meetings requested by the Pastor or Parish Administrator.
  8. Uphold the parish Protection of Children and Young People Initiative.
  9. Promote CGS to parish and school community at large.
  10. Oversee and maintain budget for allotted areas.
  11. Perform duties as directed by the pastor.

Epiphany Catholic School is looking for

Preschool Assistant Teacher: Montessori/Float for 2024-2025

Full-time (with benefits). 10-month position for 2024-2025 school year

Preferred start date of August 19, 2024 7:45 am-3 pm (Hours may change depending on scheduling needs)

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: completing required cleaning, assisting with and implementing lesson planning, and providing after-school care. This position must be Rule 3 qualified. Montessori experience and CPR certification is not necessary but preferred. Epiphany Preschool is a licensed childcare center/preschool.


  • Active, practicing Roman Catholic
  • Two-year post-secondary degree in a child-related field or CDA certification
  • 1,040-2,080 hours of experience in a childcare setting
  • Knowledge of DHS Rule 3
  • Understanding of early childhood development and education
  • Experience in Montessori education preferred
  • Competence in planning and implementing activities for 3–to 5-year-olds
  • Positive classroom management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Respect for students, parents, and staff
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • CPR/First Aid Certification preferred

Substitute Teachers

Part-time (no benefits).  On-call position.  Work schedule to follow that set by the school.

To provide instruction and supervision for students in all assigned curriculum or activities in accordance with the school/parish mission statement, philosophy, handbooks, curriculum, and directions established by the principal and pastor.
