Extraordinary Minister Information
Review the distribution for Holy Communion (these are moving parts and can change according to the need)
Stations 1 & 2 stand on the step in front of the Manger or St. Teresa depending on season.
Station Icon: Serve the choir first if 5 or more, then move to the Icon section, which will include the crying room.
Station 6: 2 EMs are needed here but if the Deacon is celebrating, he’ll take the Step and the other EM will stand by the front pew by The Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Station 5: Go to the wedge on the left when facing the congregation.
Hearth Room: The EM assigned to the Hearth Room must stand second in line, behind the sacristan. You must bring a mask with you and put it on when you get to the Hearth Room. These EMs have signed up ahead of time and have received their schedule. There is not a cross on the board.
- Communion will no longer be distributed in the Cafeteria at any of the weekend Masses.
- Gather by the choir at the beginning of the “Lamb of God.”
- There have been some questions about where to line up after receiving Holy Communion. After you receive, move to the front of the sanctuary where the priest or deacon will pass out the ciboria. When you get your ciborium you can move to your distribution station.
