Communion Ministry

Eucharistic Ministers bring communion to the home-bound, hospitals, nursing homes, and the Epiphany Assisted Living. Please EMAIL for more information.

Street People Ministry

Street People Ministry is a way to bring some happiness to the homeless at Sharing and Caring Hands. Food is prepared on the fourth Saturday of every month to be shared at Sharing and Caring Hands. Over 350 street people are served a hot meal through this program. Participants are required to be at least 16 years old and the time commitment is two hours the fourth Saturday of every month.

Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels is a community based ministry that delivers hot noon meals to the elderly and shut-ins in the communities of Coon Rapids and Blaine. Epiphany drives twelve times a year in two week shifts. Meals on Wheels Meals are picked up at Camilia Rose around 11:30 each day. Each route takes approximately one hour and fifteen minutes. Meals are delivered Monday through Friday. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer driver or if you are in need of having noon lunches delivered each day EMAIL

Funeral Information Desk Volunteer

This ministry provides the opportunity to welcome the many who pass through Epiphany’s doors. You will sit at the information desk in the church foyer before, during and shortly after the funeral, to create a warm and caring presence to the funeral guests.

Soundboard Operators

Soundboard operators set up microphones and verify operation of the Church’s sound system for all weekend Masses. The operators adjust sound levels during the Mass as needed. Some experience with sound equipment is recommended, and people experienced with PowerPoint. Training will be provided, and operators must be at least 18 years old to participate. The time commitment is one Mass per week, and the participants must be very reliable. Substitutes are also needed, but must fill in often enough to stay up to date with equipment and processes.

Respect Life

The Respect Life group goes to Planned Parenthood in St. Paul or Robbinsdale Clinic in Robbinsdale to pray in front of the building. There are events through the year to sign up for, like 40 Days for Life, Jericho March and Good Friday Prayer Vigil.  Often there are buses provided.  For more information EMAIL
